About DailyCalcNest

DailyCalcNest is a collection of free calculators for the everyday math of running a small business: pricing a job, setting a freelance rate, checking an invoice, working out whether a discount pays for itself.

How the tools work

• No account and no payment. Every calculator is free to use, and you can use them straight away.
• Your numbers stay with you. Calculations run in your browser. We have no database of user inputs, and nothing you type is sent to our server.
• The math is visible. Every calculator shows its formulas and a worked example, so you can check the logic for yourself.
• Standard methods. We use widely accepted business and financial formulas. Where a calculation rests on an assumption, such as simple rather than compound interest, the page says so.

How we check accuracy

Each calculator has automated tests that compare its output with results worked out independently, including the figures in its worked example. These tests run before the site is published. If you still spot an error, please tell us at info.HomeInnovators@yahoo.com, and we will look into it.

What we deliberately leave out

We do not publish calculators that rely on current tax brackets, payroll rates, statutory mileage rates or legal limits. Those figures change often and vary by location, and outdated numbers could cause real harm. Where such a figure matters, the calculator asks you to enter the value that applies to you.
